Hi Henry,
It was amazing to hear your composed songs and testimony yesterday at the Sunday service. The band is excellent.
As you are a Christian songs composer, I would like to seek your opinion on the following issue:
The main purpose of all Christian songs is to spread the Gospel and I believe (almost all) song writers are inspired by the Holy Spirit to compose their songs. What do you think of the copyright issue? Right now, people have difficulties to circulate the Christian song sheets due to copyright issue. The Worship parts of preaching videos (posted on internet) have to be deleted due to copyright issue. I have been asking this question for a few years and not yet able to find a reasonable answer. In order to resolve the issue, some churches are having their own brothers/sistesr to compose songs so that the churches own the copyright.
My belief is - Copy is right for all Christian songs for the sake of spreading the Gospel. No one should claim copyright of Christian songs as these are inspired by the Holy Spirit. Our Father is the provider.
I look forward to hearing from you soon. Many thanks.
Best regards,
A君
